This page allows you to view the predictive triggers that are already defined for the equipment or location. Tell me more.
Select the “View Triggers” link from the “Select Equipment/Location” page. Alternatively click the hyperlinked equipment or location code in the multiline of the same page.
The “View Predictive Triggers” page appears.
Enter the following fields if you wish to view predictive triggers for equipment or location other than the equipment or location selected in the previous page:
Trigger On |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to view predictive triggers for equipment or location. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. The system displays “Equipment”, by default. |
Code |
The identifier of the equipment or location for which predictive triggers must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Press <Enter>. The description of the equipment or location is retrieved by the system. The system also retrieves the trigger details that are defined for the equipment or location. |
Desc. |
The description of the equipment or location. |
Zoom facility available |
The system displays the following fields in the “Range Parameters” multiline:
Parameter |
The parameter for which predictive triggers must be viewed. |
Inspection Point |
The inspection point on which the parameter must be measured. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the parameter. |
Min. Value |
The minimum value of the range parameter starting from which the trigger action must be performed. |
Max. Value |
The maximum value of the range parameter till which the trigger action must be performed. |
In / Out ? |
Indicates whether the trigger action must be performed when the parameter value falls within or outside the range specified in the “Min. Value” and “Max. Value” fields. The system displays one of the following: |
Alarm Level |
The description of the alarm. |
Action |
Indicates the action that must be performed based on the parameter value. The system displays one of the following actions: |
Work Group |
The work group that would be responsible for carrying out the action. |
Type |
The type of the work order or work request that must be raised. |
Category |
The category of the work order or work request that must be raised. |
Task / Proc. Code |
The task or procedure that must be performed as a part of the trigger action. |
Task / Proc. ? |
Indicates whether the code displayed in the “Task/Proc. Code” field is a task or a procedure. The system displays either “Task” or “Procedure”. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Attribute Parameters” multiline: |
Parameter |
The parameter for which predictive triggers are defined. |
Inspection Point |
The inspection point on which the parameter must be measured. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the parameter. |
Value |
The value of the parameter at which the trigger action must be performed. |
In / Out ? |
Indicates whether the trigger action must be performed when the parameter takes the value specified in the “Value” field or when the parameter takes a value other than the specified value. The system displays any one of the following: |
Alarm Level |
The description of the alarm. |
Action |
Indicates that the action that must be performed based on the parameter value. The system displays any one of the following: |
Viewing predictive triggers – An overview
This page allows you to view the predictive triggers that are already defined for the equipment or location. You can view the predictive triggers that are defined for equipment or location selected in the “Select Equipment/Location” page. You can also directly enter equipment or location in this page and view the predictive triggers that are defined for its parameters.
The system displays the details of the triggers that are defined for both range and attribute parameters of the equipment or location. The actions that are displayed will be triggered when the parameter value reaches the specified value.
The system displays the following details of the triggers that are defined:
The parameter for which trigger actions are defined
The inspection point on the equipment or location on which the parameter must be measured
The value of the parameter based on which the trigger action is performed
The action that must be performed based on the parameter value. The action can be a “Work Order”, “Work Request” or alert.
The type and category of the work order or work request.
The work group that is responsible for carrying out the action.
The task or procedure that must be performed to carry out the action.
