To search for a RTI configuration
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
|
Update On |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to view the real time integration for equipment or a location. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. The system displays “Equipment” by default. |
|
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the maintainable object. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve the real time integration configuration of all equipment or locations irrespective of the status. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
|
Classification |
The classification to which the equipment or location belongs (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the classification in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves the real time integration configuration of all equipment or locations which belong to similar classifications. |
|
Code |
The identifier of the equipment or location for which you wish to view the real time integration configuration (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves the real time integration of all equipment or locations with codes similar to the code specified here. |
|
Desc. |
The description of the equipment or location entered in the “Code” field (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves the real time integration of all equipment or locations with descriptions similar to the description entered here. |
|
Location |
The location of the equipment (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the location in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves the real time integration of all equipment that are associated with a location that is similar to the location entered here. |
|
Parameter |
The parameter of the equipment or location for which you wish to view the real time configuration (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the parameter in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves the real time integration configuration of all equipment or locations whose parameters are similar to the parameter entered here. |
|
Inspection Point |
The inspection point of the equipment or location (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the inspection point in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves the real time integration configuration of all equipment or locations to which inspection points similar to the inspection point entered here, are attached. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
The system retrieves the following details in the “Search Results” multiline:
|
Code |
The equipment or location retrieved by the system. |
|
Desc. |
The description of the equipment or location. |
|
Inspection Point |
The inspection point attached to the equipment or location. |
|
Parameter |
The parameter for which value is updated from the RTI. |
|
Parameter Type |
The type of the parameter, which can be Attribute”, “Consumption” or “Range”. |
|
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the parameter. |
|
RTITag (Pseudonym) |
The tag of the RTI where value is captured. |
|
Measurement |
The type of measurement, which can be “Digital” or “Analog”. |
|
Tag UOM |
The unit of measurement in which the tag value is updated. |
|
Delta / New |
Indicates whether the value updated to the parameter is a new value or an incrementing value. The system displays one of the following: |
|
Delta - Indicates that the value updated to the parameter is an incrementing value.
|
New - Indicates that the value updated to the parameter is a new value that replaces the existing value.
|
Sampling Interval |
The time intervals for which parameter values are required from the RTI. |
|
Update When? |
The circumstance in which the parameter value must be updated. The system displays one of the following: |
| |
| |
|
Parameter Value – Event Low |
For an attribute parameter, this field indicates the value that would be updated for a digital signal of “0”. |
|
For range and consumption parameters, this field indicates the value crossing which the parameter value will receive an update from the RTI.
|
Parameter Value – Event High |
For an attribute parameter, this field indicates the value that would be updated for a digital signal of “1”. |
|
For range and consumption parameters, this field indicates the value reaching which the parameter value will receive an update from the RTI.
|
Off Line? |
Indicates whether the parameter value must be updated or not. The system displays “Yes” or “No”. |
|
Remarks |
Any additional information about the parameter update from the RTI. |

Viewing real time integration configuration – An overview
This page allows you to view the details of the configuration of the Real Time Integration system. You can select the equipment – inspection point – parameter combination for which you wish to view the configuration by carrying out a search based on the following fields:
The equipment or location for which you wish to view the configuration details.
The location of the equipment.
The parameter for which you wish to view the RTI configuration details.
The classification to which the equipment or location belongs.
The inspection point on which the parameter is measured.
The system retrieves the following details of the parameters, which are updated from the RTI.
The parameter along with the inspection point and equipment/location, that is updated from the RTI.
The type and the unit of measurement of the parameter.
The tag ID from which the parameter value is received.
The unit of measurement of the tag.
The type of measurement indicates whether the parameter is measured by an analog signal or a digital signal.
Whether a delta value or a new value updates the parameter.
The time interval at which the parameter must be updated from the RTI.
Whether the parameter must be updated only when the previously updated value of the parameter changes.
If the parameter is of the type “Attribute”, the values that will be updated to the parameter for the digital signal of “0” and “1”.
If the parameter is of the type “Range”, the minimum and the maximum values crossing which the parameter value must be updated.
Whether the parameter must be updated from the RTI or whether the updation of the parameter is suspended.
Any additional information about the updation of the parameter from the RTI.
