This page allow you to view the details of the tool selected in the “Select Tool” page. Tell me more.

The “View Tool Information” page appears.

Tool

The tool for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30).

 

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the details of the tool. The description of the tool is retrieved alongside.

 

Zoom facility available

Status

The status of the tool, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.

Tool type

The user-defined type of the tool.

Quantity (Nos.)

The total number of tools inducted into the system.

Hourly Rate

The cost per hour of usage of the tool.

Item Code

The item number of the tool, if the tool has been identified as an item in the inventory.

Variant

The variant number of the tool, if the tool has been identified as an item in the inventory.

The system displays the following in the “Sr. No. Assignment” multiline:

Tool Sr. No.

The serial number defined for the tool code.

Description

The description of the tool serial number.

Hourly Rate

The cost per hour of usage of the tool serial number.

Status

The status of the serial number, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.

Remarks

Any additional information of the tool serial number.

Eqp. Code

The equipment code, if the tool serial number is defined as equipment.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the tool.

Created Date

The date and time at which the tool was created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the tool.

Last Modified Date

Viewing tool information – An overview

You can view the details of the tool selected in the “Select Tool” page. You can also enter a tool other than the tool selected in the previous page and view its details. Details such as the tool, its description, type, status, total number of tool inducted to the system and the cost per hour usage of the tool can be viewed.

If the tool has been identified as an item in the inventory, you can also view its item code and the variant. The serial numbers assigned to every identifiable unit of the tool, the tool description, cost per hour usage of the tool, status of each piece of the tool, remarks for the serial numbers are displayed. If the tool serial number is defined as equipment, the equipment code is also displayed.
