This page allow you to  modify the details of failure group selected in the “Select Failure Group”. Tell me more.

The “Edit Failure Group” page appears.

Failure Group

The failure group to be modified (Alphanumeric, 30).

 

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the description of the failure group in the edit box alongside. You can enter the modified description of the failure group.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the failure group. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable the failure group from further reference in other related activities.

User Def. Text

Any additional information about the failure group (Alphanumeric, 30).

 

The system retrieves all the equipment belonging to the failure group, in the multiline. You can add more equipment to the failure group by entering the following field in the “Equipment” multiline:

Eqp.

The equipment that belongs to the failure group (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. Ensure that the equipment has already been defined in the “Create Equipment” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status. Also ensure that the equipment does not already belong to another failure group.

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Description” field in the multiline.

The system displays the following field in the multiline:

Desc.

The description of the failure group.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the failure group.

Created date

The date on which the failure group was created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the failure group.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the failure group was last modified.

Edit Failure Group – An overview

You can modify the details of failure group selected in the “Select Failure Group” page. You can also enter a failure group other than the failure group selected in the main page, and retrieve its details for modification. You can modify the description, status and the additional information that is entered for the failure group.
