This page allow you to attach tasks or procedures to the problem code selected. Tell me more.
Select the “Attach Resolutions” link from the bottom of the “Associate Problem Codes” or “Modify Trouble Shooting Guide” page.
The “Attach Resolutions” page appears.
The system displays the following field:

If you wish to attach resolutions to a problem code other than the problem code selected in the previous page, enter the following field.
Problem Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the problem code to which the resolutions must be attached. The system lists all the problem codes associated with the trouble-shooting guide in the “Associate Problem Codes” page. The description of the problem code is displayed alongside. |

The system displays the resolutions that are already defined for the problem code in the "Resolutions” multiline.
Enter the following field in the multiline to add resolutions to the selected problem code:
Task/Proc. Code |
The task or procedure to be carried out to rectify the problem selected in the “Problem Code” field (Alphanumeric, 30). If you are specifying a task, ensure that the task is already defined in the “Create Task” activity of the “Task” component and is in the “Active” status. If you are specifying a procedure, ensure that the procedure is already defined in the “Create Procedure” activity of the “Task” business component and is in the “Active” status. |

Indicates whether a task or procedure is specified for the resolution. The system displays “Task” or “Procedure”. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to select the task or procedure to remove it from the problem code.
Click the Delete icon in the toolbar above the multiline to remove the selected task or procedure.
Click the “Attach” pushbutton to attach the resolutions to the problem code.
Note: The system attaches the resolutions to the problem code.
Click the “Cancel” pushbutton to return to the previous page.
Attach Resolutions – An overview
Resolutions are the tasks that are to be carried out to rectify a problem encountered while operating the equipment. You can attach tasks or procedures to the problem code selected in the previous page. You can also directly select a problem code in this page and attach resolutions to it. You are provided with a help facility to search for a task or procedure, if you are not aware of the task or the procedure code.

You can attach a task or procedure that must be performed as a part of a resolution for a specific problem belonging to a trouble-shooting guide.
Enter the task or procedure to be attached to a specific problem code of a trouble-shooting guide in the “Task/Proc. Code” field in the multiline.
Click the “Attach” pushbutton.
