Help on trouble-shooting guide
In this page, you can retrieve trouble-shooting guides that are already defined. You can carry out a search based on the trouble-shooting guide, its description and status. You can also retrieve trouble-shooting guides based on the equipment or the failure group to which the trouble-shooting guide is attached.
Click the lens icon next to the “TSG” field in the main page.
The “Help On Troubleshooting Guide” page appears.
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a trouble-shooting guide. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

The trouble-shooting guide for which the details must be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the trouble-shooting guide in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the trouble-shooting guides whose values are similar to the value entered here. |
Desc. |
The description of the trouble-shooting guide (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the trouble-shooting guides whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the trouble-shooting guide to be retrieved. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the trouble-shooting guides irrespective of their statuses. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Attached To FG |
The failure group to which the trouble-shooting guide is attached (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the failure group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the trouble-shooting guides that are attached to failure groups similar to the value entered here. |
Mapped To Eqp. |
The equipment to which the trouble-shooting guide is attached (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the equipment in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the trouble-shooting guides that are attached to equipment similar to the value entered here. |
Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system retrieves all the trouble-shooting guides in the multiline.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Click the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the trouble-shooting guide.
