This page allows you to add new tasks to the pending jobs list. Tell me more.

The “Edit Pending Jobs List” page appears.

Pending Job List On

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to maintain pending job list on equipment or location. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. The system displays “Equipment”, by default.

Code

The equipment or location for which you wish to maintain pending job list (Alphanumeric, 30). If you have specified “Equipment” in the “Pending Job List On” field, ensure that the equipment is already defined in the “Create Equipment” activity of the “Equipment Induction” business component and is in the “Active” status. If you have specified “Location” in the “Pending Job List On” field, ensure that the location is already defined in the “Create Location” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and is in the “Active” status.

 

Press <Enter>. The system displays the description of the equipment or location.

 

Zoom facility available

The system retrieves the pending jobs in the “Pending Jobs” multiline. You can enter more pending jobs by entering the following fields:

Task

The task that is identified as a pending job (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the task is already defined as a standard task in the “Create Task” activity of the “Task” business component and is in the “Active” status.

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the following fields in the “Pending Jobs” multiline

Desc.

The description of the task.

Type

The type of the task.

Comments

Any observations that were recorded for the task that is pending.

Performed?

Indicates whether the task has been performed or not. The system displays “Yes” if the task has been completed. The system leaves the field blank, if the task has not yet been completed.

Transaction No.

The number of the transaction by which the task was reported as pending. The system displays a work request number, a work order number or a work log number. This can also be left blank if the tasks are added directly in the pending jobs list.

Transaction Type

The type of the transaction from which the tasks or comments are reported as pending. The transaction type can be “Work Request”, “Work Order”, “Work Log” or “Maintenance Plan”.

Posted Date

The date on which the task was posted as pending.

Time

The time at which the task was posted as pending.

The system performs the following for the newly entered tasks in the multiline:

To delete performed tasks from the pending jobs list

This page allows you to add new tasks to the pending jobs list.  You can also add tasks to an already recorded observation in the pending job list. The task that is added to a pending jobs list must be a standard task.
