This page allows you to specify other resources for the procedure as well for the tasks that belong to the procedure. Tell me more.
Select the “Resource Requirement” link from the bottom of the main page.
The “Other Resource Requirement” page appears.
Enter the following field if you wish to specify resources for a procedure other than the procedure selected in the main page:

The procedure for which resource requirements must be defined (Alphanumeric, 30). |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves all the tasks belonging to the procedure entered in this page, in the “Other Res. Reqt” drop-down list box. The system retrieves the description of the procedure alongside. |

Enter the following field to specify whether you wish to specify resources for the procedure or for the tasks belonging to the procedure:

Other Res. Reqt. |
Use the drop-down list box and select “Additional Requirements”, if you wish to specify additional resources for the procedure. If you wish to specify resources for the task belonging to the procedure, select the appropriate task from the drop-down list box. The system displays “Additional Requirements” by default. |

Based on the option selected in the “Other Res. Reqt.” field, if you have already specified resources for the procedure or for the tasks belonging to the procedure, the system retrieves the details in the “Other Resources” multiline. |
Enter the following fields if you wish to re-specify the resources for the procedure or the task:

Other Res. Code |
The resource to be specified for the procedure (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the resource has already been defined in the “Define Other Resource“ activity of the “Work Group” business component and is in “Active” status. This field cannot be modified. |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Description” and “Res Cost/Hr” fields in the mutliline. |

The system displays the following field: |

Desc. |
The description of the resource. If you are entering a new resource, the system updates this field only on clicking the “Update” pushbutton. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:

Duration In Hrs. |
The number of the hours for which the resource is required (Decimal). Ensure that the duration is positive and not greater than the total procedure duration. If you leave the field blank, the system displays by default, the task duration, if the resource is specified for a task or the procedure duration if the resource is specified as additional requirements for the procedure. |

Qty. (Nos.) |
The number of resources required for the completion of the task or procedure (Decimal). Ensure that the quantity is positive. If you leave the field blank, the system displays “1”, by default. |

The system displays the following field: |

Res. Cost / Hr. |
The unit cost of utilizing the resource per hour. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the mutliline to select the resources to be removed from the task or procedure.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the mutliline to delete the selected resources in the mutliline.
Click the “Update” pushbutton to re-specify the resources for the procedure.
Other Resource Requirement – An overview
This page allows you to specify other resources for the procedure as well for the tasks that belong to the procedure. You can specify resources to the procedure selected in the main page. You can also enter a procedure directly in this page and specify resources to it.
You can enter the resource directly or select a resource using the help facility. You can also modify the details of the existing resources that have already been specified to the procedure. Details such as the number of hours for which the resource is required and the number of resources required can be modified. You can also delete an existing resource from the procedure or from the tasks that belong to the procedure.

You can specify the other resources that are required for carrying out the procedure.
Enter the identifier of the other resource that is required in the “Other Resource Code” field in the multiline.
Click the “Update” pushbutton.
