This page allows you to define the other resources that are required for executing the selected task. Tell me more.
Select the “Other Resource Requirement” link from the bottom of the main page.
The “Other Resource Requirement” page appears.
Enter the following field, if you wish to specify resources to a task other than the task selected in the main page:

The task to which you wish to specify resources (Alphanumeric, 30). |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the details of the resources that are already assigned to the task, in the “Other Resources” multiline. |

The textual description of the task is displayed alongside. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline, if you wish to specify resources to the task:

Other Res. |
The resource to be specify for the task (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the resource is already defined in the “Define Other Resource” activity of the “Work Group” business component. This field cannot be modified. |

Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the “Description” and “Res Cost/Hr” fields in the mutliline. |

The textual description of the resource. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:

Duration In Hrs. |
The total number of hours for which the resource is required (Decimal).. Ensure that the duration is positive. If you leave the field blank, the system considers the task duration. |

Qty. (Nos.) |
The number of resources required for the completion of the task (Decimal).. Ensure that the quantity is positive. If you leave the field blank, the system assigns the quantity as “1”. |

Res. Cost / Hr. |
The unit rate per hour of the resource. |
Check the box in the ”Select” column of the multiline, to select the resources that you wish to delete from the task.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the mutliline, to delete the selected resources from the task.
Click the “Update” pushbutton to update the resource details for the task.
Other Resource Requirement – An overview
This page allows you to define the other resources that are required for executing the selected task. Resources such as cotton waste, which cannot be classified as tools or spare parts, are classified as “Other resources”. Other resources, that are defined in the “Define Other Resource” activity of the “Work Group” business component, can be assigned for the task in this page.
You can specify resources to a task selected in the main page. You can also directly enter a task in this page, other than the task selected in the previous page, and specify other resources to it.
You can specify the number of hours for which the resource is required and the total number of resources required for the completion of the task. You are provided with a help facility to select the resource to be assigned to the task. You can also modify or delete the other resources that are already assigned for the task.

Enter the identifier of the other resource that is required in the “Other Resource Code” field in the multiline.
Click the “Update” pushbutton.
