Basics of using a Ramco iEnterprise Series 4.0 Web Page

Using Online Help

You can select a procedure in this screen. You can search for a procedure by providing filter criteria based on procedure description, procedure type and the status. You can also carry out a search for retrieving procedures that were revised during a particular period, by specifying the revised dates as the filter criteria.

The “Help On Procedure” page appears.

Procedure

The procedure for which the details must be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the procedure in full or specify it partially. The system displays all procedures similar to the procedure entered here.

Desc.

The description of the procedure for which the details must be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system displays all procedures whose description is similar to the description entered here.

Procedure Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the procedure for which details are to be retrieved. The system lists all the procedure types of “Active” status as defined in the “Define Task Types” activity. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Procedure Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the procedure for which details are to be retrieved. The system lists all the procedure categories of “Active” status as defined in the “Define Task Categories” activity. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the procedure to be retrieved. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve procedures irrespective of their status. The system sets this field to “Active” by default.

From

The date starting from which you wish to retrieve the procedures that have undergone the latest revision (Date Format).

To

The date until which you wish to retrieve the procedures that have undergone the latest revision (Date Format).

Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system lists all the procedures of the latest revision, in the multiline.

The system fills in the following fields in the ”Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Procedure

The procedure retrieved by the system.

Desc.

The textual description of the procedure.

Type

The type to which the procedure belongs.

Revised On

The date on which the procedure was revised.

Rev. No.

The revision number of the procedure.

Status

The status of the procedure, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.
