Basics of using a Ramco iEnterprise Series 4.0 Web Page

Using Online Help

You can select a task in this screen. You can search for a task by providing filter criteria based on task, its description, task type and task category. You can retrieve the tasks that must be performed as a part of pending jobs list or shut down tasks list, or tasks that are attached to equipment. You also carry out a search for a routine or a non-routine task.

The “Help For Tasks” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a task:

Task

The task for which the details must be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the task number in full or specify it partially. The system displays all the tasks similar to the task entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all tasks.

Desc.

The description of the task for which the details must be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system displays all the tasks whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all tasks.

Routine Task

Use the drop-down list box and set the field to “Yes”, if you wish to search for routine tasks. Set the field to “No” if you wish to search for non-routine tasks. Leave the field blank to retrieve all routine and non-routine tasks. The system displays “Yes” by default.

Use the drop-down list box to retrieve tasks that must be performed as a part of the pending jobs list or shut down task list. You can also use this field to retrieve tasks that are attached to equipment. The system provides the options “Pending Jobs List”, “Shut Down Task List” and “Tasks Mapped To Equipment”. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Use the drop-down list box to specify the equipment or location for which you wish to retrieve the tasks. The system provides the options “Equipment” and “Location”. The system displays “Equipment”, by default.

Code

The equipment or location for which you wish to retrieve the tasks (Alphanumeric, 30). If you have selected “Equipment” in the “For” field, ensure that the code entered here is an equipment. If you have selected “Location” in the “For” field, ensure that the code entered here is a location.

Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the task for which details must be retrieved. The system lists all the task types that are in “Active” status, as defined in the “Define Task Types” activity. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the task for which details must be retrieved. The system lists all the task categories that are in “Active” status, as defined in the “Define Task Categories” activity. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Note: The system lists all the tasks in the multiline, if all the fields are left blank.

Note: The system retrieves only the tasks that are in an “Active” status.

The system displays the following fields in the multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Task

The task retrieved by the system.

Desc.

The description of the task.

Type

The type of the task.

Category

The category of the task.

Routine

The system displays “Yes”, if the task is a routine task, and “No”, if the task is a non-routine task.
