This page enables you to search for and retrieve skill codes. You can carry out the search based on the skill code, its description, the skill type and the work group to which the skill is mapped.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the "Skill" field in the main screen.
The “Help On Skill Code” page appears.
Enter the following search criteria to search for a skill code. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Skill code |
The skill code to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the skill code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all skill codes, similar to the code entered here. |

Skill Desc. |
The description of the skill (Alphanumeric, 12). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all skill codes, containing the description specified here. |

Skill Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the skill type. The system fills in all the skill types that are defined in the “Competency” business component of Ramco Human Resources Management Solutions. |

Work Group |
The work group to which the skill is mapped (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the work group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all skill codes, mapped to the work group specified here. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Skill Code |
The skill code retrieved by the system. |

Skill Desc. |
The description of the skill. |
|
Skill Type |
The type of the skill. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the skill code.
Click the “Ok” pushbutton.
