Help On User Name

This page enables you to search for and retrieve user names for employees. You can carry out the search based on the user name, the user description, the employee code or the employee name.

Click the lens icon positioned next to any field in the main page, where user name must be entered.

The “Help On User Name” page appears.

Select the following:

Mode	Use the drop-down list box to select the mode of selection. The combo is loaded with the values “User” and “Roles".

If the mode is “User”

Enter the following search criteria to search for a user name. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

User Name	The user name to be retrieved. You can enter the user name in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all user names, similar to the name entered here.
User Desc.	The description of the user name. You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the user names with the description specified here.
Employee Code	The employee code of the user. You can enter the employee code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the user names associated to the employee code specified here.
Employee Name	The name of the employee. You can enter the employee name in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the user names associated to the employee name specified here.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Employee Code	The employee code retrieved by the system.
Employee Name	The name of the employee.
User Name	The user name of the employee.
User Desc.	The description of the user name.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the user name.
Click the “Ok” pushbutton.

If the mode is "Role"

Enter the following search criteria to search for a user name. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Role Name	The role name of the employee. You can enter the role name in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the role names associated to the name specified here.
Role Desc.	The description of the role name. You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the role names associated with the description specified here.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Role Name	The role name of the employee.
Role Desc.	The description of the role name.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the role name.
Click the “Ok” pushbutton.
