This page allows you to search for other resources. You can provide filter criteria and select the resource from the results that are displayed. You can carry out the search based on the resource code, description and status.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the "Other Resource" field in the main screen.
The “Help On Other Resource” page appears.
Enter the following search criteria to search for an other resource. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Other Res. Code |
The other source to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the resource code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the resources, which are similar to the value entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all other resources. |

Desc. |
The textual description of the resource (Alphanumeric, 80). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the other resources with description similar to the description entered here. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the other resource. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve all other resources irrespective of their status. |
Ø Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Resources |
The other resource code retrieved by the system. |

Desc. |
The textual description of the other resource. |
|
Hourly rate |
The rate per hour of the other resource in work orders. |
|
Qty. (Nos.) |
The quantity (in nos.) of the other resource defined in the system. |

Status |
The status of the other resource which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |

Remarks |
Any additional remark pertaining to the creation or modification of the resource. |
Click the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the resource.
Click the “Ok” pushbutton.
