Basics of using a Ramco iEnterprise Series 4.0 Web Page

Using Online Help

This page allows you to retrieve the details of the work orders / inspection orders / calibration orders that are already defined. You can carry out the search using the type of the transaction, the number of the transaction, the status, the description, the type, category and priority, the work group that is responsible for the transaction, the maintainable object on which the transaction is created and the period for which the transaction is created. Based on the search criteria entered, the system retrieves the details of the transactions.

The “Help On Transactions” page appears.

Transaction Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the transaction that you wish to retrieve. The system provides the options, “Work order”, “Calibration Order” and “Inspection Order” 

Transaction No.

The number of the transaction that must be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the documents, with similar numbers. 

Desc.

The description of the transaction (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the reason in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all transactions with similar description.  

Type 

Use the drop-down list box to select the transaction type. If you have selected “Work Order” in the “Transaction Type” field, the system fills in this field all the work order types as defined in the “Define WO Types” activity. If you have selected “Inspection Order” in the “Transaction Type” field, the system fills in this field all the inspection types as defined in the “Define Inspection Types” activity. If you have selected “Calib. Order” in the “Transaction Type” field, the system fills in this field all the calibration types as defined in the “Define Calibration Types” field. 

Category 

Use the drop-down list box to select the transaction category. If you have selected “Work Order” in the “Transaction Type” field, the system fills in this field all the work order categories as defined in the “Define WO Categories” activity. If you have selected “Inspection Order” in the “Transaction Type” field, the system fills in this field all the inspection types as defined in the “Define Inspection Categories” activity. If you have selected “Calib. Order” in the “Transaction Type” field, the system fills in this field all the calibration types as defined in the “Define Calibration Categories” field. 

Priority 

Use the drop-down list box to select the priority of the transaction. The system fills in this field all the priorities that are defined in the “Define Priority” activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component. 

Status 

Use the drop-down list box to retrieve the transactions based on their status. The system fills in this field based on the option that you have selected in the “Transaction Type” field. If you have selected, 

 
  • Work Order – the system provides the options, “Fresh”, “WaitAppr”, “Completed”, “Inprogress”,”Scheduled”, “Deferred”, “Interrupted”, “Approved” and “Completed”.

 
  • Calibration Order – the system provides the option, “Fresh”

 
  • Inspection Order – the system provides the options, “Fresh” and “In Progress”. 

Work Group 

The work group that is responsible for carrying out the transaction (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the work group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves the transactions, which must be carried out by similar work groups. 

Transaction On 

Use the drop-down list box to retrieve documents that were created on equipment or location. The system provides the options “Equipment” or “Location”.  

Code 

The identifier of the equipment or location (Alphanumeric, 30). 

From

The starting date from which you wish to retrieve the transactions that are created (Date Format).

To

The date till you wish to retrieve the transactions are created (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered in this field is greater than the date entered in the “From” field.

The system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Transaction No.

The transaction retrieved by the system.

Date

The date on which the transaction is created.

Time

The time at which the transaction is created.

Desc.

The description of the transaction.

Status

The status of the transaction.

Work Group

The work group that is responsible for carrying out the transaction.

Transaction On

The maintainable object for which the transaction was created.

Code

The equipment or location for which the transaction was raised.

Type

The type of the transaction.

Category

The category of the transaction.

Priority

The priority of the transaction.
