This page allows you to specify the delays that are encountered during the execution of the work order. Tell me more.
Select the “Work Order Delays” link at the bottom of the main page.
The “Delay Codes” page appears.
If you wish to record the delays of a work order other than the work order selected in the previous page, enter the following field:

The work order for which you wish to record the delays (Alphanumeric, 18). |
Press <Enter>. The system retrieves the details of the work order. The description of the work order is displayed alongside. |

WO Status |
The status of the work order. |
Note: You can record the actuals for labor utilized on a work order only when it is in the "Scheduled", "Deferred", "Interrupted", "In progress" or "Completed" status.
The system fills in the “Actuals On” drop-down list box with the tasks belonging to the work order and retrieves in the multiline the delay codes that are already specified for the work order.
Enter the following field:

Use the drop-down list box and select “Work Order”, to specify the delays for the work order. If you wish to specify delays for the tasks belonging to the work order, select the appropriate task from the drop-down list box. The system displays “Work Order” by default. |
Note: You cannot specify actuals for a task that is in the “Fresh” status.
The system displays the following fields:

The maintainable object on which the work order is raised, which can be “Equipment” or “Location”. |
Code |
The identifier of the equipment or location. |
The description of the equipment or location is displayed alongside. |

The planning group of the work order. |
Work Group |
The work group that is responsible for carrying out the work order. |
Sch. Start Date |
The date on which the work order was scheduled to start. |
Sch. Compl. Date |
The date on which the work order was scheduled to complete. |

The actual start date and time of the work order. |
Act. Compl. Date |
The date and time at which the work order was completed. |
The system retrieves in the “Work Order Delay” multiline, the delay codes that are already defined for the work order or task. |
You can specify more delay codes by entering the following fields in the "Work Order Delay" multiline:

The delay to be specified for the work order or for the task belonging to the work order (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the delay code is already defined in the “Define Delay Codes” activity and is in the “Active” status. |

Enter the following fields:
From Date |
The date from which the delay is to be recorded in the work order (Date Format). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have specified a delay code in the “Delay Code” field. Ensure that the date entered is not later than the current system date. |
Time |
The time from which the delay is recorded (Time Format). If you have specified a date in the “From Date” field and have left this field blank, the system assigns the time as “0.00”. |
To Date |
The date till which the delay is recorded in the work order (Date Format). Data entry in this field is mandatory if you have specified a time in the “Time” field alongside. Ensure that the date entered is not later than the current system date. |
Time |
The time till which the delay is recorded (Time Format). If you have specified a date in the “To Date” field and have left this field blank, the system automatically assigns the current time if the you have specified the current date in the “To Date” field or “23.59”. |
Note: Ensure that the delay code is not overlapping for the same date and time combination. |

Duration (Hrs.) |
The number of hours for which the execution of the work order or task is delayed (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if you have specified a date in the “From Date” field and have left the “To Date” field blank. Ensure that the duration is not negative. Also ensure that the duration is not more than the difference between the dates entered in the “From Date” and “To Date” fields. |

Any extra information about the delay on the work order, that is recorded (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Click the “Update” pushbutton to update the delay codes for the work order.
Recording delays of the work order – An overview
This page allows you to specify the delays that are encountered during the execution of the work order. You can specify the delays for a work order selected in the “Select Work Order” page. You can specify the delays that are encountered during the execution of the work order or during the tasks belonging to the work order.
You can specify the delay code, the period for which the delay was encountered on the work order, the duration of the delay and any other information that you wish to record regarding the delay.
“Define Delay Codes” activity
You can specify the various delays that were encountered during work order execution.
Enter the delay in the “Delay Code” field in the multiline.
Enter the period for which the delay was encountered in the “From Date”, “Time”, “To Date”, “Time” and “Duration (Hrs)” fields in the multiline.
Click the “Update” pushbutton.
