This activity, you can define work logs that can be used for recording the observations. Tell me more.
Select the “Define Work Logs” link under the “Work Log” business component.
The “Define Work Logs” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “List Of Work Logs” multiline:

Work Log |
The unique identifier for the work log (Alphanumeric, 30). This field can be a combination of characters and numbers and cannot be left blank. Once created, this field cannot be modified. |

Desc. |
The textual description of the work log (Alphanumeric, 150). |

Seq. No. |
The sequence in which the work log should be listed wherever work logs are referred to (Integer). Ensure that the sequence number is a positive integer and is unique to the multiline. |

If you have left the sequence number blank for all the multiline rows, the system rearranges the multiline rows in the alphabetical order and automatically assigns a sequence number to each of them, in multiples of five, when you click the "Submit" pushbutton. |
Note: If you have left the sequence number blank for some of the multiline rows, the system arranges those rows in the alphabetical order of type, and numbers these rows to be the last in the sequence. The system then rearranges the rows in the ascending order of the sequence number and renumbers the rows with multiples of five.

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the work log. The system provides the options: “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the field as “Inactive”, if you do not wish to refer to this work log in other related activities. The system sets the field as “Active”, if you leave this field blank. |

Any additional information about the work log (Alphanumeric, 255). |
The system fills in the following fields in the multiline:

Last Mod. By |
The login ID of the user, who last modified the work log. |

Last Mod. Date |
The date on which the work log was last modified. |
|
Last Mod. Time |
The time at which the work log was last modified. |
|
Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the work log. |
|
Created Date |
The date on which the work log was created. |
|
Created Time |
The time at which the work log was created. |
Click the “Submit” pushbutton to create the work logs or update the modified details of the work logs.
Note: The system creates the work logs and generates the sequence numbers for those rows for which the sequence number has not been specified. In the multiline, the system displays the created and modified date and time, and the login ID of the users who created and modified the work log.
