This activity allows you to view the details of the observations that were made in a work log. Tell me more.

The “View Work Log Entries” page appears.

Work Log

Use the drop-down list box to select the work log you wish to view.  The system lists all the work logs defined in the “Define Work Log” activity.

Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the observation. The system lists all the types as defined in the “Define Types & Categories” activity and are in the “Active” status.

Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the observation. The system lists all the work log categories as defined in the “Define Types & Categories” activity and are in the “Active” status.

From Date

The date from which you wish to view the entries made in the work log (Date Format). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if you have entered a date in the “To Date” field. .Ensure that the date entered in this field is earlier than the date entered in the “To Date” field.

To Date

The date till which you wish to view the entries made in the work log (Date Format). . The system displays the current system date by default.

Entry Status

Use the drop-down list box to retrieve observations based on their status. The system provides the options: “Open”, “Transferred”, “Closed” and “Deleted”. Leave the field blank, to retrieve observations irrespective of the status. The system leaves this field blank, by default.

Observation On

Use the drop-down list box to specify the maintainable object on which you wish to retrieve the observations that are made. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. Leave the field blank if you wish to retrieve the observations made on both equipment and location. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Code

The identifier of the equipment or location for which you wish to view the observations that were made (Alphanumeric, 30).

Reported By

The employee code of the user who made the observation (Alphanumeric, 30).

Based on the search criteria entered, the  system retrieves the observations in the “Search Results” multiline:

Work Log Date

The date on which observation was recorded in the work log.

Reported Time

The time at which observation was reported.

Observation

The observation recorded in the work log.

Observation On

The equipment or location on which observation was recorded.

Code

The identifier of the equipment or location on which observation was recorded.

Entry Status

The status of the entry made which can be “Open”, “Transferred”, ”Closed” or “Deleted”.

Work Request No.

If work request was raised based on the work log, the work request number is displayed.

WO No.

If work order was raised based on the work log, the work order number is displayed.

Processing Remarks

Any remarks that were entered while processing the work log.

Reported By

The login ID of the user who reported the observation on the equipment or location.

Name

The name of the user who reported the observation on the equipment or location.

Type

The type of the work log.

Category

The category of the work log.

Processed By

The login ID of the user who processed the observation.

Processed As

Indicates the mode in which the observation was processed. The system displays any one of the following:

  • Work Request – if a work request was created based on the observation

  • Work Order – if a work order was created based on the observation

  • Information – if the observation was just treated as an information.

  • Post to History – if a record of the observation was  posted to maintenance history of the equipment or location.

  • Put as Pending Job – if the observation was added to the pending job list.

Date

The date on which the observation was processed.

Time

The time at which the observation was processed.

Recorded By

The login ID of the user who recorded the observations.

Date

The date on which the observation was recorded.

Time

The time at which the observation was recorded.
