This page allows you to select work orders for the purpose of bulk scheduling. Tell me more.
Select the “Schedule Bulk Work Order” link under the “EAM Work Order Planning” business component.
The “Bulk Scheduling Of Work Order” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the work orders to be scheduled:

WO No. |
The work order to be scheduled (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the work order in full or specify it partially. The system displays all the work orders that are similar to the work order entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all work orders. |

Desc. |
The textual description of the work order to be scheduled (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system displays all the work orders whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all work orders. |
|
Work Group |
The work group, which is responsible for carrying out the work order (Alphanumeric, 30). Enter the work group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all work orders that must be performed by similar work groups. |

WO Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the work order. The system provides the options: “Fresh”, “Approved”, “Scheduled”, “Deferred”, “In-Progress” and “Interrupted”. Leave the field blank to retrieve work orders belonging to all the above statuses. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

WO On |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to retrieve work orders that are created on equipment or on location. The system provides the options: “Equipment” and “Location”. Leave the field blank to retrieve work orders that are created either on equipment or on location. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Code |
The equipment or location for which you wish to retrieve the work orders that are created (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all work orders, created on equipment or location with codes similar to the code entered here. |

Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the work order to be retrieved. The system lists all the types that are defined in the “Define Work Order Types” activity and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank to retrieve all work orders irrespective of their type. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Ref. Doc. Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of document based on which the work order was created. The system provides the options: “Work Request”, “PM”, “Maint.Plan”, “Calib. Order”, “Inspec. Order” and “Work Log”. Leave the field blank to retrieve work orders created with reference to all the above document types. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Priority |
Use the drop-down list box to retrieve work orders based on their priority. The system fills in all the priorities that have been defined in the “Define Priority“ activity of the “Maintenance Organization” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the work orders, irrespective of the priority attached to them. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the work order to be retrieved. The system lists all the categories that have been defined in the “Define Work order Categories” activity of the ”Work Order” business component and are in the “Active” status. Leave the field blank to retrieve all work orders irrespective of the category to which it belongs. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |

Planning Group |
The planning group of the work order (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the planning group in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all work orders associated with the planning group specified here. |

Location |
The location of the equipment for which you wish to retrieve all the work orders that have been created (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the location in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the equipment whose locations are similar to the location entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve work orders created in all locations. |

Sch. By |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you want to retrieve work orders scheduled by work order or by task. The system provides the options “Work Order” and “Task”. Leave the field blank to retrieve work orders that are scheduled by both work order and task. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “WO Date” field to retrieve work orders created during a specific period:

The date starting from which you wish to retrieve the work orders that are created (Date Format). |

The date till which you wish to retrieve the work orders that are created (Date Format). Leave the field blank to retrieve all work orders that are created till the current date. Ensure that date entered in this field is later than that the date entered in “From” field. |
Enter the following fields in the “Sch. Date” field to retrieve work orders which are scheduled to start during a specific period:

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system retrieves the results of the search criteria in the “Search Results” multiline.
If the work orders that are retrieved were already scheduled, the system retrieves the details based on the following criteria:
If the work order was already scheduled by “Work Order”, the system retrieves only the details of the work order in the multiline.
If the work order was already scheduled by ”Task”, the system retrieves the details of the work order along with its tasks in the multiline.
If the work orders that are retrieved are in the “Fresh” or “Approved” status, the system retrieves only the details of the work orders in the multiline. You can schedule such work orders only by “Work Order” in this activity.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Enter the following fields in the “Sch. Dates For Selected WO” group box, if you wish to schedule the work orders or tasks by specifying a single start date and completion date:

Sch. Start Date |
The date on which the work order/task is scheduled to start (Date Format). |

Enter the time at which the corrective action has to be started on the work order/task in the edit box alongside (Time Format). |

Compl. Date |
The date on which the work order/task is scheduled to be completed (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered in this field is not earlier than the date entered in the “Schedule Start Date” field. |

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the work order or task for scheduling.
Click the “Sch.” pushbutton to schedule the selected work orders or tasks.
The system schedules the work orders or tasks and performs the following:
Changes the status of the work order, if it is in the “Fresh”, “Approved” or “Deferred” status, to “Scheduled”.
Updates the scheduling history with the details of scheduling.
If the work order is scheduled by “Work Order” the system sets the status of all the tasks, except those that are in the “Completed”, “In Progress” or “Interrupted” statuses, as “Scheduled”.
If the work order is scheduled by “Task”, the system sets the status of all the selected tasks that are in the “Fresh”, “Approved” or “Deferred” status as “Scheduled”.
All tasks that are in the “Fresh” status and that are marked for deletion are removed with all their resource requirements from the work order.
If you have selected the option for reservation of parts on scheduling in the “Option Settings” activity, the system reserves the items for the work order/task in the following manner:

The availability of the items that were already specified for the work order or task is checked in the inventory. |
|
|
The system checks if the items are disposition items. The system raises demand for all the disposition Items and posts the demand in the inventory. |
|
|
If the (disposition) items are not available, the system posts a demand for the items as problems demand. |
|
|
If the status of the work order is already “Scheduled”, the system cancels the employee, tools and the other resources that are assigned to the work order. The system also modifies the demand for items that are reserved for the work order and reserves the items based on the new start and completion dates |

|
If the work order is scheduled for the first time, the system generates a clearance request or a clearance permit based on the option for automatic generation of clearance request or permit set in the “Option Settings” activity of the “Clearance Permit System” business component. |

The login ID of the user who created the work order. |

The date and time of the creation of the work order. |

The login ID of the user who last modified the work order. |

Bulk scheduling of work order – An overview
This page allows you to select work orders for the purpose of bulk scheduling. You can select the work orders by carrying out a search based on the following:
the work order number and its description
the maintainable object which can be equipment or location, for which the work order has been created
the identifier of the equipment or location
the type of the work order
the category to which the work order belongs
the location of the equipment for which the work order has been created
the priority that is assigned for the work order
the planner of the work order
the planning group of the work order
the status of the work order
the work group that is responsible for carrying out the work order
the dates within which the work order is scheduled to start
the dates within which the work order is created
The system retrieves the work orders that are in the “Fresh”, “Approved”, “Scheduled”, “Deferred”, “In-Progress” and “Interrupted” statuses, based on the filter criteria entered.
If you are re-scheduling a work order in this page, the system retrieves the details of the work order depending on the mode in which the work order was scheduled. If the work order was scheduled by “Work Order”, the system retrieves the details of the work order in the multiline. You can specify the new start dates and completion dates for the work order. If the work order is scheduled by “Task”, the system retrieves the details of the work order along with its tasks in the multiline. You can specify new start dates and completion dates for all the tasks of the work order.
Note: You can schedule a work order that is in the “Fresh” or “Approved” status only by “Work Order” in this activity.
You can specify the following details to schedule a work order or a task:
the scheduled start date and time of the work order/task
the scheduled completion date and time of the work order/task
the work group that is responsible for carrying out the work order
any additional information about scheduling the work order/task
You can also specify a single scheduled start date and time and a single completion date and time for all the work orders or tasks that you have selected for scheduling.
Create WO of “Work Order” business component
Approve WO of “Work Order” business component, if the work order status is “Waitappr”.
You can schedule more than one work order at the same time.
Select the work orders that must be scheduled.
Enter the scheduled start date of the work order in the “Schedule Start Date” field.
Enter the completion date of the work order in the “Completion Date” field.
Click the “Schedule” pushbutton.
