Help on Organization Unit

This Help page allows you to search and select an organization unit and transfer the details to the field where it is required.

You can search by specifying the code identifying the company and the business unit to which the organization unit belongs. You can also search by entering the code identifying the organization unit that you want to retrieve. The system retrieves all the organization units based on the search criteria entered. The selected organization unit is transferred to the required page when it is confirmed.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Organization Unit” field.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for an organization unit.

Company Code	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the company to which the organization unit that you want to retrieve belongs. All the companies that have been defined and that are in an “Active” status will be available for selection in the ascending order.
Business Unit	Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the business unit to which the organization unit that you want to retrieve belongs. All the business units that have been mapped to a company and an organization unit will be available for selection in the ascending order. The system displays “Blank” by default at the launch of the page.
Org. Unit	The code identifying the organization unit that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves and displays all the organization units that are similar to the value entered in this field.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.

The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline bases on the search criteria entered:

Business Unit	The code identifying the business unit.
Org. Unit	The code identifying the organization unit.
Org. Unit Desc.	The textual description of the organization unit.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select an organization unit.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
