Viewing identification details

This page allows you to view the identification details for a selected company, business unit or organization unit for a selected identifier. You can view the details of the reference along with the identification numbers. You can also view the description of the identifier.
Select the “View Identification Details” link under the “Organization Setup” business component.
The “View Identification Details” page appears.
Enter the following field:

Company Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the company for which you want to view the unique identification numbers. All the companies that have been defined and are in an “Active” status will be available for selection in the ascending order. |
The system displays the following:

Company Name |
The name identifying the company. |
Enter the following field:
|
Business Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the business unit for which you want to view the identification numbers. All the business units that have been defined for the company will be available for selection in the ascending order. |
The system displays the following:

Business Unit Name |
The name identifying the business unit. |
Enter the following field:

Org. Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to select the code identifying the organization unit for which you want to view the identification numbers. All the organization units that have been defined and mapped to the selected business unit will be available for selection in the ascending order. |

Identifier |
Use the drop-down list box to select the identifier for which identification number is available. You can select from “Company Identification Reference”, “Location Reference”, "Product Identification Reference", ”Supply Chain Reference” or “Tax Identification Reference” .. |
Click the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve the identification details.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Identification Details” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Applicable Identification Ref. |
A unique reference agency for which an identification number is being entered, for example, a D-U-N-S number. |

Desc. |
The description of the identification reference. |
|
Identification No. |
A unique number given by the reference agency. |
|
Default |
Indicates whether the identification number must be used as a standard identifier for the organization unit. |
