Map Finance Book – A summary of the activity

A “Posting” finance book is mapped to an organization unit for posting the financial transaction entries. If a finance book is not available in an organization unit, you can post the financial transaction entries in the finance book that has been mapped to the organization unit.

This page allows you to select the organization unit to which the “Posting” finance book must be mapped. A “Posting” finance book can be directly mapped to a business unit or to a selected organization unit. In which case the “Posting” finance book will also be automatically mapped to all the organization units mapped to the business unit.  You can also enter a date from which the combination of the organization unit and the “Posting” finance book is in active use. Help facility is available for retrieving the “Posting” finance book.
