Help on Instrument No.

This Help page allows you to search and select a Instrument document number and transfer the details to the field where it is required. The system retrieves the values based on the details entered.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Hedging Instrument No.” field.
The “Help on Instrument No.” page appears.
Enter the details in the "Search Criteria" group box:

Instrument No. From |
The starting range of number identifying the Hedging Instrument. |
|
To |
The ending range of number identifying the Hedging Instrument. |
|
Finance Book |
Use the drop down list box to select the Finance Book in which the Hedging Instrument is recorded to retrieve the Instrument |
|
Date From |
The starting range of date on which the Instrument has been created. |
|
Date To |
The ending range of date on which the Instrument has been created. |
|
Instrument Type |
The nature of Instrument such as Bill of Exchange and Buyer’s Credit. |
|
Contract Date |
The date on which the contract was entered |
|
Settlement Date |
The date on which the Bill of Exchange liability will be settled |
|
Status |
Use the drop down list box to select the status of the Instrument |
Click “Search” push button to fetch the Bill of Exchange / Buyers Credit No.
The systems displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline

The number identifying the Instrument. |

Date |
The date of the Instrument |
|
Currency |
The Currency of the Instrument |
|
Amount |
The amount of the Instrument |
|
Finance Book |
The Finance Book in which the Instrument has been created |
|
Instrument Type |
The nature of Instrument such as Bill of Exchange and Buyer’s Credit. |
|
Contract Date |
The date on which the contract was entered |
|
Settlement Date |
The date on which the Bill of Exchange liability will be settled |
|
Status |
The status of the Instrument |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select Instrument No.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
