Set Function Parameters

This section deals with the Hedge Instruments and its activity Set Function Parameters.
Select the “Set Function Parameters” link under the “Hedge Instruments” business component.
The “Set Function Parameters” page appears.
Enter the following details:

Allow Multiple Finance Book Postings |
Use the drop down list box to Indicate whether the Hedging postings have to be made in multiple finance books or not. |

Default Finance Book |
The code identifying the finance book in which financial postings must be made for the organization unit. |
|
Hedge Instrument Exchange Rate Type |
Use the drop down list box to select the Finance Book in which the Hedging Instrument is recorded to retrieve the Instrument |

Settlement of Hedge Instrument Exchange Rate Type |
Use the drop down list box to select the exchange rate type applicable for Settling the Hedge Instruments |
|
Trigger Rate Mandatory |
Use the drop down list box to Indicate whether the Trigger Rate is mandatory or not |
|
Consolidated Postings for Recording Hedging Instruments |
Use the drop down list box to Indicate whether during Hedging the postings to be consolidated for all the instruments or instrument wise |
Click the “Set” pushbutton to save the settings made.
The system saves the function defaults that have been set.
