Help on Skill
Ensure that you have selected the "Help" icon beside the Skills field.
The "Help on Skills" page appears.
To specify the search criteria
Specify any or all the following fields.

Skill Type |
From the drop-down list box select the skill type to which the skills are mapped. It lists all the skill types defined in the quick codes of the HR General Information component |

Skill Code |
To view all the skill codes containing specific character, type in the starting character or characters of the skill code |

Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards. Examples: QN1*, Q*12, QN*1. |

Skill |
The description of the skill. Alternatively, type in these characters in any combination with wild cards |
Select the "Search" pushbutton.
The system retrieves the details of the skills depending the search critieria displayed.

Skill Type |
The name of the skill type to which the skill is mapped |
|
Skill Code |
The unique code that identifies a skill |
|
Skill |
The description of the skill |
|
Min. Desired Level |
The minimum level at which the skill is to be possessed |
Select the skill by checking in the "Select" column of the record.
Select the "Ok" pushbutton.
