This page allows you to modify a selected formula. You can modify the formula by entering in the description of the formula and the contents of the formula. You can enter the contents of the formula or you can select from the list of defaulted variables, which have been used in the “Cost Setup” component. You can select a variable from the multiline that accordingly shows the “Cost Element Structure ID” it is used in. You can also select a variable and transfer the variable to the contents of the formula. This page allows you to modify the formula on the changes made.
Select the “Edit Formula” link under the “Select Formula” page:
The “Edit Formula” page appears.
The system displays the following:

Enter the following fields:

A textual description of the formula (Character, 80). |

Enter the following fields in the “Variable Details” group box:

Use the drop-down list box to select from “Yes” or “No”, if you wish to select the defaulted variable. |

A unique code identifying the Cost Element Structure. |
Click the “Transfer Variable” push button to transfer the selected variable.
The system transfers the selected variable to the “Formula Content” field.
Click the “Edit Formula” push button to modify the formula.
The system modifies the formula on the changes made.
The system displays the following:

The login ID of the user who created the formula. |

The date on which the formula was created. |

The login ID of the user who last modified the formula. |
