An equipment rental workspace offers the ability to maintain the equipment based on the rental workspace type. We can view the equipment rental workspace based on the activities like RFQ, Quotations, agreement, timesheet and Usage Reporting.
Select the “Equipment Rental Workspace” activity under the “EAM Maint Workspace” business component.
The “Equipment Rental Workspace” page appears.

help page of the respective field.
To view the equipment rental workspace details
Enter the following details in the header:
Year |
Use the drop-down list box to select the year to view the details of the equipment rental workspace. |
On selection of the year, the system displays the count of “RFQ”, “Quotations”, “Agreement”, “Timesheet” and “On-Hold” goods receipt details.
RFQ:
Not Quoted – Request has been raised but not yet generated.
Quoted – Request has been generated.
Quotations:
Pend. Approval – Quotation has been created but not yet authorized.
Not Ordered – Quotation has been authorized but the agreement has not created.
Agreement:
Pend. Approval – Agreement has been created but not approved.
Open – Agreement has been approved
Timesheet:
Pend. Approval – Timesheet based on hours has been created but not yet approved.
Approved – Created timesheet has been approved.
Usage Reporting:
Pend. Approval – Reporting has been created but not yet approved.
Approved – Usage reporting status has been approved.
RFQ Tile
Click the RFQ tile to retrieve the quoted and non-quoted details in the multiline.
Based on the tile section, the system displays the following details in the multiline:
Document No. |
The number identifying the service level agreement raised. |
Document Date |
The date on which the document is created. |
Customer Code |
The unique code identifying the customer for whom the SLA is raised. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer for whom the SLA is raised. |
Valid Till |
The date till which the RFQ is valid. |
Status |
The status of the RFQ. |
If RFQ tile is selected, then the system displays the “RFQ Overview” and “RFQ To Expire” graphs.
RFQ Overview - The graph shows the RFQ count for the weekly basis. The count of RFQ may differ on the weekly basis.
RFQ To Expire – It shows when the RFQ is set to expire.
The system displays the following details in the “RFQ” section:
Cust. RFQ. No. |
The unique number that identifies the customer RFQ. |
RFQ Date |
The date on which the RFQ is created. |
RFQ Valid Till |
The date till which the RFQ is valid. |
Mode of Enquiry |
The mode of enquiry of the RFQ. |
Sales Person |
The name of the sales person. |
The system displays the following details in the multiline:
Equipment |
The unique number or code that identifies the equipment. |
Category |
The category of the equipment. The category is displayed based on the equipment code. |
Rental Unit |
The rental unit of the equipment. It may be hour, day, week and month. |
Req. Date |
The date at which the equipment is requested. |
Model |
The model of the equipment. |

If Quotation tile is selected, then the system displays the “Sales Projection” and “Pending Approval” graphs.
Sales Projection – Quotation count will be generated on the weekly basis.
Pending Approval – Cost will be generated on the monthly basis.
The system displays the following details in the “Quotation” section:

The date on which the quotation is valid. |
Sales person |
The name of the sales person. |
Currency |
The payment used for the transaction. |
Billing Freq. |
The billing frequency at which the equipment is rented. |
Pay Term |
The code identifying the pay terms applicable to the SLA. The system also checks for the existence of the entered pay term from the “Pay Term” business component. |

The category of the equipment. The category is displayed based on the equipment code. |

The date from which the equipment is rented. |

The lease agreement period of the equipment. |
Rental Unit |
The unit of the equipment used for rental. |

Filter |
Use the drop-down list box to filter the data according to the selection of transaction details. |
Click the “Get Details” button to retrieve the filtered transaction details in the multiline.
