This activity allows you to define the system parameters for the Master component. The maximum margin for cost sheet and contract and the persons allowed to authorize exceptional cost sheet and contract are defined in this activity. The standard working hours and the number of days for the cost sheet and contract calculation are also defined in this activity.
Select the “Set Function Parameters” activity under the “Master” business component.
The “Set Function Parameters” page appears.

Note: In the header the mandatory fields are represented as bold and in the multiline the mandatory columns are either bold or displayed in a color other than black.
Enter the following details in the header:
Minimum Margin % |
The minimum margin percentage for cost sheet and contract. |
Exceptional Cost Sheet Authorization User Name |
The user name of the person who is allowed to authorize the exceptional cost sheet. A cost sheet is exceptional when its margin % is less than the minimum margin % |
Exceptional Contract Authorization User Name |
The user name of the person who is allowed to authorize the exceptional contract . A contract is exceptional when its margin % is less than the minimum margin % |
Note: The authorization of contract and cost sheet will not be done when the Workflow is enabled for cost sheet and contract in Company Parameter Setup component.
Days in Month |
The number of days for cost sheet and contract calculation. The number of days entered should be less than or equal to 30.5 days. |
Standard Working Hours |
The standard working hours .The number of hours entered should be less than or equal to 24 hours. |
Click the “Set” button to set the system parameters.
The parameters are saved for the login user.
The system displays the following details in the “Data History” group box:
Created By |
The name of the login user who created the system parameter details. |
Created Date |
The date on which the system parameter was created. |
Modified By |
The name of the login user who modified the system parameter details. |
Modified Date |
The date on which the system parameter details was modified. |
