Using online help

This activity allows the user to define and maintain codes for the login OU. The system captures the following details: code, description, default, status etc.

       Select the “Maintain Codes” activity under the “Masters” business component.

The “Maintain Codes” page appears.

Viewing code details:

       Enter the following field in the “Code Type details” group box:

Code Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the code type. The options displayed are Reason Code and Activity Group.

       Enter the following field in the “Codes from other OU” group box:

From OU

Use the drop-down list box to select the OU. The options displayed are OU1 and OU2.

       Click the “Retrieve” button to retrieve the code details.

The system fetches the details of the code.

The following fields are displayed in the “Code Details” multiline.

Seq. No.

The number that identifies the sequence.

Code

The name of the code.

Description

The description of the code.

Default

The system displays the default as “Yes” or “No” to indicate whether the code is set as default code.

Status

The system displays the status as “Active” or “Inactive” to indicate whether the status of the code is active or not.

Work/Task Group

Use the drop-down list box to select the work / task group. The system displays the list of work or task group defined against the Code Type – Work Group /Task Group . This combo loads with Work Groups when the Code type is chosen as Task Group and loads with Task Group when the Code type is chosen as Task Sub Group.

Note: This field is visible when the “Code Type” is selected as “Work Group” and “Task Sub Group”.

Long Description

The detailed description of the work or task group.

Note: This field is visible when the “Code Type” is selected as “Task Sub Group”.

Creating Code details:

       Enter the following fields in the “Code details” multiline.

Seq. No.

The number that identifies the sequence.

Code

The name of the code.

Description

The description of the code.

Default

Use the drop-down list box to select the default as “Yes” or “No” to indicate the default status of the code.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status as “Active” or “Inactive” to indicate whether the status of the code.

 

       Click the “Maintain” button to save the code details.

The system saves the code details and updates the following fields in the multiline against the respective code:

Created By

The login user ID of the person who created the sanction details.

Created Date

The date on which the sanction details was created.

Modified By

The login user ID of the person who modified the sanction details.

Modified Date

The date on which the sanction details was modified.
