This activity allows you to select the formulae and activate them. Once the formulae are activated, they cannot be modified. They can only be revised or deactivated. You can directly enter the formula code if you know the exact number or carry out the search using code. The system displays the formula details in the multiline as per the search criteria.
Select the “Activate Formula” activity link under the “Formula Model” business component.
The “Activate Formula” page appears.
Enter the following in “Search Criteria” group box, to search for formulae:

Item Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the operator for the Item Search. The system lists all the item codes that are used in Formulae with the specified type in Type Search You can enter the item code in full or specify it partially using a similar character in the first text box provided alongside. The system retrieves all the codes in the multiline similar to the character entered here. You can enter a range of item codes in both the text boxes provided alongside to retrieve the “In between” items in the multiline |

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the formula for activation.
Click the “Activate” pushbutton to activate the formula.
The system updates the status of the formula to “Active”. The system stores the login user ID as Activated By and the current date as the “Activated Date”.
