This activity enables you to associate yield with the formula class, Item Group, Item or Item-Variant. . . Apart from the “Create Formula” page, where yield is associated to the Formula-Version, you can also associate yield with the formula class, item, item group and item variant in this activity.
You can directly enter the yield id if you know the exact number or carry out a search using the lens icon provided alongside. The system displays the yield details such as yield ID, its description and expression based on the search criteria and transfers all the details to the main page.
Select the “Associate Yield” link from the “Formula Model” business component.
The “Associate Yield” page appears.
Enter the following:

Yield Id |
The code identifying the yield to be associated with the formula class, item, item group or item variant (Alphanumeric, 32). Mandatory |
The system displays the following:

Description |
The textual description of the yield. |

Expression |
The expression attached to the yield, which could be a combination of the following, apart from numbers and other mathematical operators are “Sum (Inputs)”, “Sum (Outputs)”, “Sum (Co-Products)”, “Sum (By-Products)”, “Sum (Recycle)”, “Primary Input” or “Primary Product”. |

Effective From |
The date starting from which the formula association is effective (Date Format). Mandatory |

Definition Level |
Use the drop-down list box to associate the yield. You can select from “Item- Variant”, “Item”, “Item Group” or “Formula Class”. The system displays “Item” by default. |

Item Group Code |
The code identifying the item group, which is already defined in the “Item Group Administration” business component. |
