Maintain Qualitative Attribute Values

Select the “Maintain Qualitative Attribute Values” at the bottom of the “Create Inspection Plan” or “Edit Inspection Plan” page.
The ”Maintain Qualitative Attribute Values” page appears.
The system displays the following:

Inspection Plan ID |
The code identifying the inspection plan to be created for a control point. |
|
Description |
The textual description of the inspection plan id. |
|
Control Point ID |
The code identifying control point for which the inspection needs to be carried out. |
|
Description |
The textual description of the control point. |
|
Item Code |
The code identifying the item attached to the control point. |
|
Variant |
The code identifying the variant of the item. |
|
Description |
The textual description of the item. |
|
Origin ID |
The location where the item is to be inspected. The system displays “Quality Management”, “Production”, “Sales”, “Purchase” or “All” based on the origin specified. |
|
Attribute |
The code identifying the attribute of the item. |
|
Attribute Type |
The type of the attribute, which could be “Quantitative” or “Qualitative”. |
|
Attribute Description |
The textual description of the attribute. |
|
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the attribute, if the attribute is “Quantitative”. |
The system displays the following in the “Qualitative Values” multiline:

Value |
The actual value of the attribute. |
Enter the following:

Acceptable Value |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the attribute value is acceptable or not. You can select ”Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Yes” by default on launch of the page. |
Click the “Maintain ” pushbutton to associate the accepted values with the attributes of inspection.
