Using online help

This page allows you to select an inspection plan id and transfer the same to the field where it is required. You can retrieve the inspection plan id details by specifying the known details in the search criteria such as inspection plan id, description, effective from date or control point id in the “Value (S)” field. Based on the filter criteria entered the inspection plan details are retrieved in the multiline. You can select the inspection plan id from the list displayed. On confirmation, the selected id is transferred to the required page.

The “Help for Inspection Plan ID” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for an inspection plan id.

Field Caption

The system displays “Inspection plan id”, “Description”, “Effective From”, “Effective To” and “Control Point id”.

Rel. Operators

Use the drop-down list box to specify the relation operators. You can select from “Like”, “=”, “<”, “>”, “Between”, “<=”, “>=” and “!=”. The system displays the value in the multiline based on the characters selected in this field.

Value (S)

You can enter the value in full or specify it partially based on the character mentioned in the “Rel. Operators” field. The system displays the values in the multiline based on the character selected in the “Rel. Operators” field.

 

For example, to view the inspection plan id “IP1”, if the “Rel. Operators” field is specified as “Equal to”, you can specify “IP” in this field and all the values that are equivalent to “IP” gets displayed in the multiline.

Value (S)

You can enter a range of values in both the “Value (s)” text boxes provided to retrieve the “Between” codes in the multiline.

 

For example, if the inspection plan id in the first “Value(S)” text box is entered as “IP 1” and the second “Value(S)” text box is entered as “IP 5” and click the “Search” pushbutton. The inspection plan ids in between “IP 1” and “IP 5” get displayed in the multiline.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status.  The values "Active", "All" and "Deactivated" get populated.

The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Inspection Plan Id

The code identifying the inspection plan to be viewed.

Status

Displays the status of the Inspection Plan

Description

The textual description of the inspection plan id.

Effective From

The date starting from which the inspection plan is effective.

Effective To

The date until which the inspection plan is effective.

Control Point ID

The code identifying control point id for which the inspection needs to be carried out.

Description

The textual description of the control point id.

Item

The code identifying the item attached to the control point.

Variant

The item variant associated with the control point.

Description

The textual description of the item or Item variant.

Origin ID

The control point id that is being defined on various applications for an item, such as “Quality Management”, “Production”, “Sales”, “Purchase” and “All”.
