Maintain Control Factor Sequence
This activity allows you to prioritize the control factors present in the “Create Control Point Definition” page. You can attach the control factor with origin id as well as set the priority for each control factor. The priority of control factor is identified when an item is requested for inspection.
Select the “Maintain Control Factor Sequence” link from the “Quality Management” business component.
The “Maintain Control Factor Sequence” page appears.
Enter the following:
Origin ID |
The code identifying the origin of the control point created for an item, which could be “Inventory”, “Process Production”, “Purchase”, “Sales”. |
The system displays the following in the “Control Factor Sequence Details” multiline:
Control Factor |
The factors affecting the quality of the item that is to be inspected. |
Enter the following:
Priority |
A unique number assigned to the control factor indicating the priority based on which the item is inspected (Integer). Mandatory. The value must be a positive integer greater than zero. |
Note: If there are 4 control factors, the priority may be any value from 1 to 4.
The system displays the following:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the control factor sequence. |
Created Date |
The date on which the control factor sequence was created. |
Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the control factor sequence. |
Modified Date |
The date on which the control factor sequence was last modified |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to associate the priority with the control factor.
Click the “Maintain ” pushbutton to update the sequence details.
