Setup QC Parameters

This activity allows you to set system parameters for this business component. Through this activity the numbering type for control point, inspection plan, inspection request, lab reference and standard operating procedure are set.

Select the “Setup QC Parameters” link from the “Quality Management” business component.

The “Setup QC Parameters” page appears.

Enter the following:

Numbering Type for Control Point	Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for control point. The combo is loaded with “Manual” and the mapped numbering types for the control point.
Numbering Type for Inspection Plan	Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for inspection plan. The combo is loaded with “Manual” and the mapped numbering types for the inspection plan.
Numbering Type for Inspection Request	Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for inspection request. The combo is loaded with “Manual” and the mapped numbering types for the inspection request.
Numbering Type for Lab Reference	Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for lab reference. The combo is loaded with “Manual” and the mapped numbering types for the lab reference.
Numbering Type for Standard Operating Procedure	Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for standard operating procedure. The combo is loaded with “Manual” and the mapped numbering types for the standard operating procedure.
Expected Result Lead Days	The number of expected result lead days.(Integer).
Allow Bulk Confirmation of Checklists	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether bulk confirmation can be done for the checklists. The system provides the options: Yes – Select this option if you want to see the bulk confirmation task at the Common Checklist page. No – Select this option if you do not want to see the bulk confirmation task at the Common Checklist page.

Click the “Set” pushbutton to save the settings.

The system displays the following:

Created By	The login ID of the user who created the QC parameter details.
Created Date	The date on which the QC parameter details was created.
Modified By	The login ID of the user who modified the QC parameter details.
Modified Date	The date on which the QC parameter details was modified.
