Specify User Access Rights

 

 

A specify user access rights offers the ability to provide access rights to the user based on the entities like sampling inspection and non-conformance process. This activity allows you to provide access rights to the login user or role. For a selected transaction - Entity combination, role or user can be specified and saved. Access rights can be provided for these Roles/Users to the available events.

 

• Select the “Specify User Access Rights” activity under the “Quality Management” business component.

The “Specify User Access Rights” page appears.

      - Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

To record the specify details

• Enter the following details in the header:

Transaction	Use the drop-down list box to select the transaction. The combo is loaded with the “Quality Management”.
Access Right Enabled	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the access right needs to be enabled for the user or not. The combo is loaded with the values “Yes” and “No”.
Entity	Use the drop-down list box to select the entity. The combo is loaded with the values of “Sampling Inspection” and “Non Conformance Process”
Entity Description	A textual description of the entity. The system displays the description when the entity is selected.

• On selection of entity, the system displays already saved details in the “Map by User/Role” multiline.

Allowed User	The name of the allowed user.
Allowed Role	The name of the allowed role.

•  Click the “Save Role/User” button to save the mapping details of the user access rights.

• Click the “Retrieve” button to retrieve the selected row details in the multiline.

Note: Only one row can be selected in the multiline.

Event

The system displays the event based on the entity.

• Select the following detail in the multiline.         

Applicable

Use the drop-down list box to select whether the event is applicable for the allowed user/role. The combo is loaded with the values “Yes” and “No”.

• The system displays the following details in the multiline.    

Created By	The login ID or name of the user who created the access rights.
Created Date	The date and time at which the access rights was created.
Modified By	The login ID or name of the user who modified the details.
Modified Date	The date and time at which the user access rights was last modified.

 

• Click the “Save” button to Save all details.
