This activity allows you to define and set the function defaults for the “PP Cost Rollup” business component. The function defaults is set and defined for the system to follow. At any point of time the function defaults can be modified according to the requirements of the user. This page allows you to set the function defaults initially when you want to implement this business component. You can set the basis for the surcharge amount. You can set “Flat” or “Percentage”. You can set the tolerance % for the surcharge amount. You can set the tolerance % for the additional cost burden. You can set the default cost center to update the inventory. You can also set the maximum number of retry attempts to execute the request. All the values specified must be positive.
Select the “Set Parameters” activity under the “Cost Rollup” business component.
The “Set Parameters” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Function Defaults” group box:

Basis for Surcharge |
Use the drop-down list box to select the basis for the surcharge amount. You can select from “Flat” and “Percentage”. |

The system displays “Flat” by default on the launch of the screen. |

Tolerance % for surcharge |
A number identifying the percentage of tolerance for the surcharge amount (Integer). This is applicable if the basis of surcharge is percentage. |

Tolerance % for Additional Cost Burden |
A number identifying the percentage of tolerance for the additional cost burden (Integer). |
Note: The number entered must be positive.

Default CC for Inventory Updation |
The code identifying the default cost center for inventory updation (Alphanumeric, 10). The default cost center must have been defined in the “Cost Setup (CSET)” component. |

Maximum Number of Retry Attempts |
A number identifying the maximum number of retry attempts to execute the roll up request offline when it is done in a batch process (Integer). |
Note: The number entered must be positive.
Click the “Set” push button to set the parameters.
The system saves the parameters.
The system displays the following:

The login id of the user who created the parameter details. |
