Help On WBS ID

This help page allows you to search and select a WBS ID code and transfer the details to the required field. You can search for a WBS ID by specifying the WBS From, WBS ID To, task code from, task code to, work group etc in the filter criteria. Based on the specified search criteria, the system retrieves corresponding details in the multiline. The selected WBS ID is transferred to the required page when the OK button is executed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “WBS ID” field.
The “Help on WBS ID” page appears.

Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help
page of the respective field.
The system displays the following details based on the previous screen information.
Project Code |
The unique code identifying the project. |
Project Name |
The name of the project. |
Created at OU |

Enter the following details in the multiline:
From WBS ID |
The starting ID in the range of WBS ID till which you wish to retrieve the details |
To WBS ID |
The ending ID in the range of WBS ID till which you wish to retrieve the details. |
Work Area |
The work area of the WBS ID. |
From Task Code |
The starting code in the range of task code till which you wish to retrieve the details. |
To Task Code |
The ending code in the range of task code till which you wish to retrieve the details. |
Task Desc. |
The description of the task. |
From Task ID. |
The starting ID in the range of task id from which you wish to retrieve the details. |
To Task ID. |
The ending ID in the range of task id from which you wish to retrieve the details. |
Work Group |
The unique code identifying the work group |
Task Group Code |
The code identifying the task group. |
Task Sub Group Code |
The code identifying the sub group of the task. |
On click of “Search” button the following details are displayed in the multiline:
WBS ID. |
The unique id identifying the work break down structure. |
Task ID. |
The task code identifying the WBS. |
Task Code |
The code identifying the task. |
Task Description |
The descriptive information of the task. |
Task Group |
The group to which the task belongs. |
Task Group Desc. |
The description of the task group. |
Task Sub Group Code |
The sub group of the task. |
Task Sub Group Desc. |
The description of the task sub group. |
Work Group |
The unique code identifying the work group. |
Work Group Desc. |
The description of the work group. |
Work Area |
The name of the work area to which the task belongs to. |
Click the “Ok” button to retrieve the “Help on WBS ID” in the main screen.
