Set Function Parameters

This activity allows you to set the options for numbering type for the newly added task in the project requirements specifications screen and the default values of task group for the same tasks .

Select the Set Function Parameters link under the Project Detailing business component.

The Set Function Parameters page appears.

Enter the following details in the "Set Parameters" group box:

Default Task Group for Auto Task Creation	Use the drop-down list box to select the default task group for auto task creation. The values in Task Group gets populated from maintain codes activity. The value set here will be used as the default task group.
Numbering Type for Auto Task Creation	Use the drop-down list box to select the numbering type for the task creation. The values of Automatic numbering defined in the numbering class and “Manual" type gets populated. The numbering type will be generated according to the value selected here.

Enter the following details in the "PR Generation" group box:

Consolidated Items at PR	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the items should be consolidated in purchase request. If this option is set as yes, then even though WBS ID wise material requirements have been seen, items shall be consolidated in PR and each item will come only once The values “Yes” or “No” gets populated.
Allow PR Quantity More than Required Quantity	Use the drop-down list box to decide whether the purchase quantity can be more than required quantity calculated in the Material Requirements screen.. The values “Yes” or “No” gets populated.

Enter the following details in the "MR Generation" group box:

Consolidated Items at MR

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the items should be consolidated in material request. If this option is set as yes, then even though WBS ID wise material requirements have been seen, items shall be consolidated in MR and each item will come only once The values “Yes” or “No” gets populated. The values “Yes” or “No” gets populated.

Click the "Save" pushbutton to save the entered details.

The system displays the following in the Data History group box:

Created By	The login ID of the user who set the options.
Created Date	The date and time on which the options were set.
Last Modified By	The login ID of the user who last modified the options.
Last Modified Date	The date and time on which the options were last modified.
