This page allows you to specify the quality specifications required for the item. You can select the line number and hence the items for which you need to enter the quality attribute details. The Revisions done to the item and its engineering drawing are displayed. The Maximum and minimum values specified in Item Master for the relevant attributes of the item along with its qualitative value are displayed. The corresponding required specifications can be mentioned in the multiline.
Select “Quality Attributes” link at the bottom of the “Specify RFQ Details”.
The “Specify Quality Attributes” page appears.
The system displays the status of the RFQ.

Code or identification number of the item. |

The name of the variant associated with the item. |

Description stating the nature of the item and the variant. |

Unique identification number of the revision made to the items. |
Drawing No. |
Unique identification number of the engineering drawing of the item. |
Drawing Revision No. |
Unique identification number of the revisions done to the engineering drawing of the item. |

Attribute Code |
Code or identification number of the attributes associated with the item. |
UOM |
The Unit Of Measure in which the items are measured. |
Enter the following:
Required Min Value |
The minimum value of the attribute that the item supplied should meet. This means that the supplied part should have a value that is at the most equal to this or greater than this. It is not expected to have a value lower than this. |
Required Max Value |
The maximum value of the attribute that the item supplied should meet. This means that the supplied part should have a value that is at the most equal to this or lesser than this. It is not expected to have a value greater than this. |
Reqd Standard Quantitative Value |
The ideal attribute value that the supplied item should have can be mentioned here. Even though a preferred range of the value is given this value indicates that this is the most desired specification for the item. |
Reqd Qualitative Value |
The required value of the qualitative attribute that the item supplied should have can be mentioned here. |
The system displays the following:
Attribute Desc. |
The Description stating the nature of the attribute. |
Attribute Type |
The Type of the attribute is mentioned. An attribute can be either quantitative or qualitative. |
Attribute Min Value |
The minimum value of the attribute that the item in inventory, is always expected to satisfy is displayed here. This value is specified in Item Administration. |
Attribute Max Value |
The minimum value of the attribute that the item in inventory, is always expected to satisfy is displayed here. This value is specified in Item Administration. |
Standard Quantitative Value |
The ideal value of the attribute, which the item is ideally expected to meet, is displayed here. This value is specified in Item Administration. |
Standard Qualitative Value |
The ideal value of the qualitative attribute, which the item is ideally expected to meet, is displayed here. This value is specified in Item Administration. |
Trackable |
This indicates whether the attribute value is measurable or not. This value is specified in Item Administration. |
Click the "Specify Quality Attributes” pushbutton to save the quality attributes pertaining to a particular item.
