This help page allows you to search the Item Group Code. You can carry out the search for Item Group Code using the search criteria such as Item Group Code, the description of the Item Group or the OU where the Item Group was created.
You can specify the values in the fields either in full or partially using the “*” wildcard. The system retrieves the search result in the multiline. Select the Item Group Code from the multiline and click the “OK” pushbutton to the transfer the same to the required page.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Item Group Code” Field.
The “Help On Item Group Code “ page appears
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the Item Group Code

Item Group Code |
The unique code identifying the Item Group which needs to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 16) You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the item group code similar to the code entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the item group code irrespective of its identification number |

Group Desc. |
The description of the item group (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the item group code similar whose description is similar to the code entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the item group code irrespective of its description |

Use the drop-down list box to select the OU where the Item Group is created. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the Item Group Code based on the search criteria entered
The system displays the following information in the “Search Results” multiline

The OU where the Purchase Request is created |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the Item Group Code
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
