Adjust Specific Receipts

This page allows you to specify the adjustment value and quantity for all items whose adjustment value method is selected as “Specific Receipts” in the “Edit Financial Information” page. Tell me more.

The “Adjust Specific Receipts” page is displayed.

The system displays the following:

Status

The status of the adjustment transaction.

Transaction No.

A unique number identifying the transaction.

Transaction Date

The date on which the transaction took place.

Warehouse Code

A unique code identifying the warehouse.

Adjustment Type

The type of stock adjustment. The system displays one of the values, “General”, “PI Plan” or “CC Sheet Based”.

PI Plan No.

The number identifying the physical inventory plan.

Cycle Count Sheet No.

The number identifying the cyclic count sheet.

Line No.

Use the drop-down list box to specify the line number of the item for which you wish to view the receipt details. The system generates this number sequentially for every line containing an item code in the finance information page. All the line numbers for the item codes defined in the “Edit Financial Information” page for which the adjustment value method is set as “Specific Receipts” will be displayed here in ascending order.

The system displays the following:

Item Code

A unique code identifying the item.

Variant Code

Variant Code of the item.

Item Variant Desc.

A textual description of the item variant.

 

Zoom facility available

Stock UOM

The unit of measurement of the stock stored in the warehouse.

Adjustment Qty.

The total number of units of the particular item held adjusted in the warehouse. The quantity displayed in the header is the sum of all the adjustment quantities specified in the multiline.

Adjustment Alternate Quantity

The alternate adjusted quantity for a catchweight item. The system raises an error if this field is left blank for catchweight item

Adjustment value

The value of the items for which stock adjustment is performed. The value displayed in the header is the sum of all the adjustment values in the multiline.

The system displays the following in the “Receipt Information” multiline:

Receipt No.

The serial number of the receipts for which the adjustment value is to be specified.

Receipt Doc. No.

The number identifying the receipt through which goods have been received into the warehouse from the supplier.

Doc. Date

The date on which the receipt was created.

Doc. Source Point

The location or organizational unit from where the receipt has been created.

Doc. Type

The type of receipt that has been created. For example, a production receipt can be used to receive items from various production plants into the warehouse.

Doc. Line No.

The line number of the stock receipt.

Receipt Qty.

The number of units of the item received into the warehouse.

Current Qty.

The quantity of stock available after issue of items from the warehouse.

Current Value

The value of items currently available in the warehouse.

Adjustment Qty.

The quantity of stock to be adjusted to correct the discrepancy between system stock and actual physical stock. Leave this field blank for zero quantity or value adjustment. Ensure that the quantity is less than or equal to the current quantity for each receipt is the adjustment is negative. Else, the system displays an error message.

Adjustment Value

The value of stock for which adjustment is done. Leave this field blank if the adjustment type is negative. Ensure that this value is not equal to the current value if the adjustment value is negative and type is zero quantity adjustment. Else, the system displays an error message.

Adjustment Alternate Qty

The alternate adjusted quantity for a catchweight item.

The system displays the following in the “Receipt Information” multiline:

Current Alternate  Qty

The alternate current quantity for a catchweight item.

The system sets the status of the transaction as “Active” from “Returned” status on successful submit of the details entered in the page.

The system saves the adjustment quantity (for negative quantity adjustment), adjustment value for each receipt and adjustment value for the selected line number.

The system sets the status of the transaction as “Active” if serial number details are available for all serial controlled items and if the specific receipt has been successfully saved for all line number of items with adjustment value method as “Specific Receipts”.

The system sets the transaction as “Authorized”

The system updates the stock maintenance for addition or reduction of stock quantity and value depending on whether the adjustment is positive or negative. The system updates the serial management if serial number adjustments are being made.

The system updates the stock value for the item/variant directly if the adjustment is only for the value and not the quantity, the costing method is WAR/LFL and adjustment value method is specify value. The system updates the stock value for the item/variant directly if the adjustment is only for the value and not the quantity, the costing method is WAR/LIFO/FIFO and adjustment value method is specify receipts.

The system updates the dispositionable quantity if the adjustment is positive or negative, the stock status is nettable and the item/variant is disposition controlled.

The system updates the status of the PI plan and CC sheet to “Closed” from “Authorized”.

The system sets the status of the transaction as ”Deleted”.

Adjust Specific Receipts – An Overview

Activity Overview

This page is launched only if the adjustment value method is set as “Specific Receipts” for at least one of the items in the finance information page. Else, the system displays an error message. This page allows you to specify the adjustment value for all items having value adjustment and adjustment quantity for all items having negative adjustment. You can also specify the adjustment value for all items having zero quantity adjustment.

The system displays all receipt details available for the item/variant in the warehouse. You can select a particular receipt from the list and perform adjustment on the quantity or value. The system calculates the current rate by dividing the current value by current quantity. The adjustment value is displayed as the product of adjustment quantity and current value. For positive
