Help On Lot And Sub Lot Numbers

This Help page allows you to search and select a lot number and transfer the details to the field where it is required.

You can search for a lot number by specifying the lot number details, sub-lot number details, manufacturing date details and expiration date details as the filter criteria. Based on the specified search criteria, the system retrieves all the lot numbers, sub-lot numbers, and manufacturing and expiration date that fall within the specified range and which are available in stock in the warehouse/zone/bin for the given item-variant and stock status The selected lot number is transferred to the required page when the OK button is executed.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Lot No.” field.

The “Help On Lot And Sub Lot Numbers” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a lot number.

Lot No. From	The unique number identifying the lot from which you wish to view the lot number information (Alphanumeric, 28). You can specify this value in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the lot numbers that are more than or equal to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the lot numbers irrespective of the starting lot number on the execution of “Search” button.
Lot No. To	The unique number identifying the lot till which you wish to view the lot number information (Alphanumeric, 28). You can specify this value in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the lot numbers that are less than or equal to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the lot numbers irrespective of the ending lot number on the execution of “Search” button.
Sub Lot No. From	The unique number identifying the sub-lot under the lot from which you wish to view the lot number information (Alphanumeric, 3). You can specify this value in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the sub-lot numbers that are more than or equal to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the lot numbers irrespective of the starting sub-lot number on the execution of “Search” button.
Sub Lot No. To	The unique number identifying the sub-lot under the lot till which you wish to view the lot number information (Alphanumeric, 3) You can specify this value in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the sub-lot numbers that are less than or equal to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the lot numbers irrespective of the ending sub-lot number on the execution of “Search” button.
Mfg. Date From	The date of manufacture of the item from which you wish to view the lot number information (Date Format). The system retrieves all the lot numbers for which the manufacturing date is more than or equal to the date entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the lot numbers irrespective of the starting manufacturing date.
Mfg. Date To	The date of manufacture of the item till which you wish to view the lot number information (Date Format). The system retrieves all the lot numbers for which the manufacturing date is lesser than or equal to the date entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the lot numbers irrespective of the ending manufacturing date.
Expiration Date From	The date of expiry of the item (Date Format). The expiry date is the sum of the shelf date and manufacturing date. The system retrieves all the lot numbers for which the expiration date is more than or equal to the date entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the lot numbers irrespective of the starting expiration date.
Expiration Date To	The date of expiry of the item (Date Format). The expiry date is the sum of the shelf date and manufacturing date. The system retrieves all the lot numbers for which the expiration date is lesser than or equal to the date entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the lot numbers irrespective of the ending expiration date.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.

The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered. The system displays the lots which are available in stock for the item-variant, stock status , warehouse, zone and bin

Lot No.	The unique number identifying the lot
Sub Lot No.	The number identifying the sub-lot under the lot.
Quantity	The available quantity in a lot.
Manufacturing Date	The date of manufacture of the lot.
Expiration Date	The expiry date of the lot. The expired lots cannot be used after the expiry date.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a lot number.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
