This Help page allows you to search and select a serial number and transfer the details to the field where it is required.
You can search for a serial number by specifying the starting and ending serial number as the filter criteria. Based on the specified search criteria, the system retrieves all the serial numbers which are available in stock in the given warehouse / zone / bin / stock status for the given item variant. The selected serial number is transferred to the required page when the OK button is executed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Serial No.” field.
The “Help On Serial Numbers” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a serial number.

Serial No. From |
The starting serial number of the item in a range of serial numbers from which you wish to view the serial number information (Alphanumeric, 28). |

Serial No. To |
The ending serial number of the item in a range of serial numbers till which you wish to view the serial number information (Alphanumeric, 28). |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered which are available in stock in the given warehouse / zone / bin / stock status for the given item variant.

Serial No. |
The serial number of the item to be included in the transaction. |

Ref. Serial No. |
The serial number provided by the vendor or manufacturer. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a serial number.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
