This Help page allows you to search and select a zone/bin number and transfer the details to the field where it is required.
You can search for a zone/bin number by specifying the zone number, zone description, bin number and bin description as the filter criteria. Based on the specified search criteria, the system retrieves all the zones and bins If no item/variant details are entered in the main page, then the system retrieves all zones and bins. The warehouse must exist in the login OU and must be of “Normal” storage type.
If adjustment qty field is not blank, then the system checks whether the adjustment quantity is positive or negative. If adjustment quantity is negative, then the system retrieves only those zone/bin combinations for which the stock exists in the warehouse. Else, the system checks whether the storage allocation is mandatory. If the storage rule is specified as “Only At”, then the system retrieves only those zone/bin combinations in which the item to be stocked is defined. The selected zone/bin number is transferred to the required page when the OK button is executed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Zone” field.
The “Help On Zone / Bin” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a zone/bin number.

Zone |
A unique code identifying the zone in the warehouse (Alphanumeric, 10). This can be a combination of characters and digits. You can specify this number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the zone numbers that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the zones irrespective of the zone number on the execution of “Search” button. |

Zone Desc. |
A textual description of the zone (Alphanumeric, 40). You can specify this description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the zone descriptions that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the zones irrespective of the zone description on the execution of “Search” button. |

Zone Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the storage type of the zone. The system displays the options:
The system sets this field to “All” by default. |

Bin |
A unique code identifying the bin under the zone (Alphanumeric, 10). This can be a combination of characters and digits. You can specify this number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the bin numbers that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the zones irrespective of the bin number on the execution of “Search” button. |

Bin Desc. |

The system retrieves all the bin descriptions that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the zones irrespective of the bin description on the execution of “Search” button. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Zone/Bin Information” multiline based on the search criteria entered, for the item-variant / warehouse / stock status / lot /sub lot / starting serial no / ending serial no:

Zone |
The code identifying the zone to be viewed. |

A unique code identifying the bin. |

Qty. |
The total quantity of stock that has been adjusted in the zone/bin combination in the warehouse. |

UOM Code |
The unit of measurement of the item stocked in the zone/bin combination in the warehouse. |

Stock Status |
The stock status of the item stocked in the zone/bin combination in the warehouse. |

Picking Priority |
The priority of issuing the items from the bin. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a zone/bin combination.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
