Using online help

This page allows you to view information related to sub lots. Sub-lots are child lots that are created under a lot. The items stored in lots can be further divided into sub-lots. You can view the sub-lot number, the quantity of the item to be stored in the sub-lot and the stock status of the item. This page is launched only if the “Sub Lot Applicable” field is set as “Yes” for atleast one of the items in the multiline of the main page. Else, the system displays an error message when you click the “Sub Lot Information” link from the main page.

The “View Sub Lot Information” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Status

The status of the opening balance transaction.

Transaction No.

A unique number identifying the opening balance transaction. 

Transaction Date

The date on which the opening balance transaction is created.

Warehouse Code

The unique code of the warehouse in which items are stored.

Line No.

Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the item to be stored in sub-lots. All the line numbers of the items for which the “Sub Lot Applicable” field is set as “Yes” in the main page will be displayed here in ascending order. The system displays the first value from the list of values in ascending order by default.

The system displays the following:

Item Code

A unique code identifying the item stored in the warehouse.

Variant Code

Variant code of the item.

Item Variant Desc.

A textual description of the item/variant.

Qty.

The number of units of the item that are lot controlled and have sub-lots defined under them. The sum of all the sub-lot quantities in the multiline will be equal to the quantity displayed in the header.

Zone

The number identifying the zone in which items are stored in the warehouse.

Bin

The number identifying the bin in which items are stored in the zone.

Lot No.

The unique number identifying the lot in the warehouse. This lot is further divided into sub-lots.

The system displays the following in the “Sub Lot Information” multiline:

Sub Lot No.

The unique number identifying the sub-lot in the warehouse.

Qty.

The number of units of the item to be stored in the sub-lot.

Stock Status

The stock status of the item to be stored in sub-lot.
