This Help page allows you to search and select a warehouse code and transfer the details to the field where it is required.
You can search for a warehouse code by specifying the warehouse code, warehouse description, warehouse type and whether the warehouse is of type “Capital” or not as the filter criteria. Based on the specified search criteria, the system retrieves all the warehouses that are defined for the login OU. The selected warehouse code is transferred to the required page when the OK button is executed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Warehouse Code” field.
The “Help On Warehouse Code” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a warehouse code.
Warehouse Code |
A unique code identifying the warehouse where the item is stored (Alphanumeric, 10). You can specify this code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the warehouse codes that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the warehouses irrespective of the warehouse code on the execution of “Search” button. |
Warehouse Desc. |
A textual description of the warehouse (Alphanumeric, 40). You can specify this description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the warehouse descriptions that are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the warehouses irrespective of the warehouse description on the execution of “Search” button. |
Warehouse Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of warehouse. The system displays the options:
The system sets this field to “All” by default. |
Capital Warehouse |
Check the checkbox to allow storage of all items that can be capitalized. .When capital warehouse is checked the search results will fetch only capital warehouse and when it is not checked then all warehouse including capital warehouse if existing will be fetched |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

A unique code identifying the warehouse |
Warehouse Desc. |
A textual description of the warehouse. |
Warehouse Type |
Specifies whether the storage type of the warehouse is “Free” or “Normal”. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a warehouse code.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
