This page helps you to search and select a party code.
You can search for the required party code by selecting the party type, or by giving a range of party codes, or by specifying a range of party names. Based on the entered search criteria, the system retrieves the corresponding details in the multiline. You can locate the required party code from the multiline and select it. This page helps you to fetch the selected party code to the field from which you launched the help.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Party Code” Field.
The “Help On Party Code” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the party code:

Party Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required party type, Customer, or Supplier. The field displays the first loaded value in the list on launch of the page. The type of the party you require to search. |

Party Code From |
The start of the range of party code from which you require the search. Enter the code (Alphanumeric, 40). |

To |
The end of the range of party codes for your search. Enter the code (Alphanumeric, 40). |
|
Party Name From |
The name of the party from which you require the search. Enter the name (Alphanumeric, 40). |

To |
The name till which, you require the search. Enter the name (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays details in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered:

The code of the party. |

Party Name |
The name of the party. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the required party code.
Click the “OK” pushbutton to fetch the party code to the field where it is required.
