This page allows you to attach the driver to the vehicle or detach the driver from the vehicle. You can view the trailer attachments and detachment details if the mode is “Show History”.

Select the “Attach Driver” hyperlink in Maintain Vehicle Details Page under the “Transport Masters” business component.
The “Attach Driver” page appears.
- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

The system displays the header details based on the previous screen information.

Vehicle No |
The unique number identifying the vehicle. |

Vehicle Type |
The type to which the vehicle belongs. |
|
Status |
The status of the vehicle. |

Mode |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the mode of the driver. The combo is loaded with the values “Attach”, “Detach” and “Show History”. The system displays “Attach” by default on launch of the page. |

Enter the following details in the “Driver Details” multiline:

Driver Code |
The unique code identifying the driver who is to be attached to the vehicle or detached from the vehicle. |

Driver Name |
The name of the driver. |
|
Attached Date |
The date on which the driver was attached to the vehicle. |
|
Attached Reason |
Any reason pertaining to the driver attachment. |
|
Detached Date |
The date on which the driver was detached from the vehicle. |
|
Detached Reason |
Any reason pertaining to the driver detachment. |

Click “Save” button to update the driver attachment or detachment details.
