Equipment availability offers the ability to check the availability of the equipment based on specific date and month. The available and allocated month of the equipment will be retrieved and displayed in the multiline by searching with the equipment code. The available, rented/booked and over booked equipment’s are differentiated with colors in the multiline and also the available equipment will be displayed by selecting the active free status in the help on vehicle page. You can also check the availability of the equipment by searching with the equipment age in the other search section.
Select the “Equipment Availability” activity under the “Transport Masters” business component.
The “Equipment Availability” page appears.

Enter the following details in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Equipment Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the equipment. The combo is loaded with all the values from the “EAM Maintenance Organization” under the “Maintain Codes” activity. |

Make |
Use the drop-down list box to select the make of the equipment. The combo is loaded with all the values from the “EAM Maintenance Organization” under the “Maintain Codes” activity. |

Model |
Use the drop-down list box to select the model of the equipment. The combo is loaded with all the values from the “EAM Maintenance Organization” under the “Maintain Codes” activity. |

Eqp. Classification |
Use the drop-down list box to select the classification of the equipment. The combo is loaded with all the values from the “EAM Maintenance Organization” under the “Maintain Codes” activity. |

Sub Classification |
Use the drop-down list box to select the sub classification of the equipment. The combo is loaded with all the values from the “EAM Maintenance Organization” under the “Maintain Codes” activity. |

Nature |
Use the drop-down list box to select the nature of the equipment. The combo is loaded with the values of “Customer Owned”, “Hired”, “Leased” and “Owned”. |

Equipment Code |
The unique code that identifies the equipment. |

Serial No. |
The serial number of the equipment. |

Eqp. Desc |
On selection of the equipment code, the system displays the description of the equipment. |

View Availability By |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you want to view the availability of equipment by date or month. The combo is loaded with the values of “Date” and “Month”. |

Date From |
The starting range of the date from which you wish to retrieve the details. |
|
Date To |
The ending range of the date till which you wish to retrieve the details. |

Click the “Get Details” button to retrieve the details.
The system displays the following details

The number of the available equipment’s. |

On-Rent/Booked |
The number of equipment’s which has been given for rent and already booked. |

Month |
The name of the month at which the equipment’s are booked. |

The equipment which has been associated for the allocated days according to the selection of the month. |
The system displays the following details.
Available – The green color indicates the equipment that are available for booking.
On-Rented/Booked – The red color indicates the equipment that are already booked/rented.
Overbooked – The yellow color indicates the equipment that are overbooked.
E-Registration Expired – The letter “E” indicates the equipment whose registration was expired.
M-Under Maintenance – The letter “M” indicates the equipment are under maintenance phase.
